LM- Reflection on second shoot

  • Our second shoot focused on the antagonist in an internal location, which was my garage, and we were able to make it into a lair where the antagonist's work was based.
  • Our mise-en-scene played a vital role as we used Photographs and newspaper cuttings upon a wall, creating a collage that is supposed to be the antagonists research of his victims etc.
  • I again took the role of the cameraman whilst Oli again was the antagonist. This shoot had more relation to the ideas that we used in our storyboarding for our animatic, Making the shoot more straight forward.
  • The lighting of the room caused the most doubt, and was considered a problem, however we were able to set up several lamps in positions where everything significant on set could be seen.
  • We maybe didn't take as much time on this shoot as we were following the storyboard, which would be the one thing to change for next time.
